REPORT: March 8, 14 forces launch positions over Hariri’s remarks

The recent position launched by former PM Saad Hariri when he said that he would take part in a coalition government with Hezbollah, triggered a chain of reactions from March 8 and March 14 alliances.

March 8 sources hoped that Hariri’s remarks will be implemented on the ground, noting that this stance goes in line with the efforts exerted by Speaker Nabih Berri and MP Walid Jumblatt.

On the other hand, March 14 forces stressed that Hariri’s remarks “do not include anything new concerning the cabinet formation, pointing out that the discussions have not yet been finalized due to the pending issue of the ministerial statement.”
