REPORT: Interior Minister Machnouq meets Saudi counterpart in Marrakech

Lebanese Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouq, heading a security delegation, visited on Wednesday his Saudi counterpart Mohamad Bin Nayef Bin Abdel Aziz at his residence in Marrakech-Morocco, the state-run National News Agency reported.

In a meeting with Machnouq, Saudi Interior Minister voiced his support to all Lebanese security institutions in addressing urgent matters.

In turn, Machnouq told the Saudi Minister that Lebanon is no longer capable of dealing with the huge number of displaced Syrians, which exceeded 25% of the population, stressing Lebanon's urgent need for assistance.

Machnouq also tackled with his Jordanian counterpart Hussein Al-Majali the Syrian refugee issue and the means to deal with the file.
