VIDEO: Semi-naked Lebanese protester steals the spotlight once again, stirs commotion at Rafik Hariri hospital
A Lebanese man shocked the crowd gathered at a press conference held by employees of the Rafik Hariri University Hospital on Friday when he took to the main podium, stripped off his jacket and expressed anti government sentiments.

"Change starts from within, it starts with us!" he said as he pointed his finger towards his chest.

Miled Abou Malhab was admitted to hospital on Thursday after having swallowed a light-bulb shortly after his arrest by the Internal Security Forces at the command of the General Prosecution under no charge.

He was released after reportedly complaining of bleeding to seek medical attention at his own account.

Abou Malhab first made headlines when he took part, semi-naked, in a sit-in held on Wednesday by the Union Coordinating Committee at the Riad al-Solh Square adorned in only a placard he had carried and which read: "Am I human? Am I Lebanese? Or an Ass?"

The employees of the Rafik Hariri University Hospital in the region of Jnah, Bir Hassan staged several sit-ins to protest "the administration’s failure to pay due salaries and the concerned authorities’ negligence toward the medical facility that is on the verge of collapse.”

The protesters also called on the officials to prioritize the situation of the said institution, urging them to hold all defaulters accountable.
