REPORT: Finance and Budget Committee submits draft law to amend fees on tobacco

The Finance and Budget Committee has submitted a draft law to amend fees imposed on tobacco and its derivatives.

If the parliament passes the draft law, it may constitute an additional important source of revenue for the Lebanese state.

This comes as lawmakers are looking for different means to fund the series of ranks and salaries.
