REPORT: Minister Mashnouq says plan set to help Lebanese nationals trapped in border town of Tfeil

Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq said Saturday that a plan aiming at helping the Lebanese citizens trapped in the northern border town of Tfeil was set up, noting that a humanitarian corridor will be opened under the supervision of Lebanese security apparatuses, in order to prevent any Syrian gunmen from crossing into Lebanon.

Interior Minister Machnouq has chaired on Saturday a security meeting at the ministry.

The meeting was attended by heads of security apparatuses, security officials, and Hezbollah Liaison and Coordination official, Hajj Wafik Safa.
