REPORT: Newborn baby found abandoned in Dawhet Aramoun

A 3-week-old baby boy was found abandoned in the region of Dawhet Aramoun, the Internal Security Forces said on Sunday.

The infant was transported to the Kamal Jumblatt hospital in Choueifat where he is provided with the needed medical care.

The security forces are searching for the parents of the baby boy whose identity is yet to be determined.

In a similar incident, a newborn baby was found on Friday night abandoned in the Khishneh region of Qana, the state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday.

The agency added that the baby girl was taken to Qana Police precinct, where police forces transported her to Jabal Aamel Hospital in Tyre.
