REPORT: Assad's re-election stirs mixed reactions on social media

The re-election of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad for another seven-year term stirred mixed reactions on social media platforms.

While a number of people congratulated Assad for his victory, others criticized the results of the presidential election.

"Mass fainting cases are reported in Syria following the unexpected victory of Bashar al-Assad," a commenter said ironically.
