REPORT: Lebanese, Syrian workers abducted in east Lebanon

Tensions run high on Tuesday on the outskirts of the Ras Baalbek town following the abduction of Lebanese and Syrian workers by Jabhat al-Nusra gunmen.

Among the abducted workers, 4 were Syrian nationals and 3 Lebanese, identified as Mikhael Mrad, Asaad Fliti and Mohammad al-Hujairi.

The Lebanese Armed Forces patrolled the area and launched investigations in order to pursue the kidnappers.
