REPORT: Bou Saab says Reports saying official exams been leaked nothing but rumors
Education Minister Elias Bou Saab stressed Saturday the atmosphere has become better than the first day, noting that statements exchanged via social media stating that the official exams have been leaked, are nothing but rumors.

“These are attempts to raise a state of confusion among the parents, students and teachers who trying to help the students,” he added.

Bou Saab made his remarks during his tour on schools in Sidon, where Syrian students are also presenting the Brevet official exams for the second day.

In this regard, the minister stressed that the education ministry are offering assistance to all the Syrian students, mainly those who lost their identification documents.

“We hope that by the end of the summer, the international organization will be able to cooperate with the Syrian Education Ministry in order to ensure sure identification documents for the students,” he added.

The Brevet official exams kicked off on Friday across the Lebanese regions, as Education Minister Elias Bou Saab inspected schools and stressed that the exams are taking their normal course.

The official exams had been delayed for one day over disputes between the Union Coordination Committee and the Lebanese parliament, which has failed, so far, to meet the committee's demands.

The UCC has been on a continuous sit-in calling on the parliament to endorse the series of ranks and salaries, which stipulates a wage hike.
