REPORT: Security source to LBCI: Ahrar al-Sunna Brigade's statements 'not serious'

A security source told LBCI on Thursday that measures are being implemented to control the situation in light of the statement issued by the Baalbek-based Ahrar al-Sunna Brigade, assuring that all relevant statements were not "serious."

On Wednesday, the Ahrar al-Sunna Brigade said via twitter that a jihadi group has been tasked with cleansing the Bekaa region in particular and Lebanon in general from “churches.”

The brigade added that the group will target "Crusaders" in Lebanon in order to stop church bells from ringing.
