REPORT: Cabinet shelves decree calling on electoral bodies to hold parliamentary elections

Lebanon’s cabinet has shelved the decree which calls on electoral bodies to hold the parliamentary elections.

Ministers did not sign the decree yet due to discrepancies over the signature-based mechanism.

The legal deadline for the publication of this decree in the Official Gazette ends on Monday.
