REPORT: Judge Abou Ghayda indicts Omar Bakri on terrorism related charges

Military Investigative Judge Riad Abou Ghayda indicted on Thursday Sheikh Omar Bakri with belonging to armed terrorist groups and attempting to undermine the Lebanese state's authority.

Bakri was charged with "belonging to the armed terrorist organizations the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria and the al- Nusra Front and Al-Qaeda with the aim of publishing articles provoking hatred for the Lebanese government and its institutions, mainly the Lebanese Army.”
