REPORT: Legal objections over extension of parliament’s term continue to rise

Lebanon’s Parliament is expected to meet next month to extend its term, as Speaker Nabih Berri vowed not to hold parliamentary elections in the absence of an elected president or in the event of boycott by any party.

This as legal objections over the extension of the parliament’s mandate continue to rise.
