REPORT: FPM to challenge law extending parliament’s mandate

Deputies from the Free Patriotic Movement will not resign in protest of the extension of the parliament’s mandate as their resignation will not lead to general elections but by-elections.

Nonetheless, the FPM will not stand idly by as it is prepared to challenge the extension law before the constitutional council.
