Ep9: KAFA's Zalfa says...
As part of our effort to shed light on women's rights in Lebanon, LBCI will be broadcasting a 30 second segment on the nightly news bulletin over a span of 16 days.

Zalfa, a character created by KAFA (Enough Violence & Exploitation), will be explaining the inner workings of the law against domestic violence in a bid to raise awareness on law 293.

In tonight's segment Zalfa says:

The restraining order is free of cost since it is exempt from fees and does not require an attorney.

You are entitled to annul, amend or renew the order when you need to.

The aggressor shall be incarcerated only if he abstains from implementing the order.

The restraining order is temporary and does not contradict other complaints you may submit before other courts.

Watch us tomorrow for further clarifications on the law against domestic violence.
