Ep10: KAFA's Zalfa says...
As part of our effort to shed light on women's rights in Lebanon, LBCI will be broadcasting a 30 second segment on the nightly news bulletin over a span of 16 days.

Zalfa, a character created by KAFA (Enough Violence & Exploitation), will be explaining the inner workings of the law against domestic violence in a bid to raise awareness on law 293.
In tonight's segment Zalfa says:

The first restraining order was issued on the 31st of May only two weeks after the domestic violence law was published in the Official Gazette. The order was in favor of a Syrian woman.
In accordance with this order, the aggressor was taken outside the house after he was held at a police station for 48 hours. The woman and her daughter returned home as per the order.
A second restraining order was also issued to prevent a man from abusing his sisters.
Watch us tomorrow for further clarifications on the law against domestic violence.
