During the last days of winter storm “Zeina” that has been raging over Lebanon over the past few days, snow continued to fall on Friday in the regions located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level in the Donniyeh area, blocking the roads that connect it to the city of Tripoli.
In this context, the snow isolated the towns of Donniyeh, leading the residents to call on the concerned authorities to open the roads.
The storm, which has been accompanied by a severe cold wave, caused a power outage in the region.
Elsewhere, Dahr al-Baydar road and Tannourine road have been blocked due to the accumulation of snow since the early morning hours.
However, Dhour al-Choueir road is open for SUVs and vehicles equipped with metal chains.
