REPORT: Ambassador Asiri receives condolences on death of Saudi King Abdullah

Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Asiri has received condolences for the death of Saudi Arabia's late King Abdullah at the Mohammed al-Amin mosque in downtown Beirut.

“The statements that were delivered by the new Saudi King Salman are reassuring,” said National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt who offered his condolences on Saturday.

“The kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always stood by Lebanon on the military and economic levels and supported the Special Tribunal for Lebanon,” MP Jumblatt said, adding that he is not concerned about bilateral ties.
