REPORT: Will H5N1 bird flu hit Lebanon?

Israel has reported a new outbreak of H5N1 bird flu in Haifa close to the Mediterranean coast.

The outbreak prompted Lebanon’s Minister of Agriculture Akram Chehayeb to take the necessary preventive measures to avert its spread across the border.
