The French Judiciary rejected the appeal presented to release Lebanese detainee Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, who has been imprisoned in France for over 30 years.
The International Campaign for the Release of George Abdallah dubbed the latter a Lebanese hostage of the French judicial system, calling for seeking new means to free him.
Friends and relatives of George Abdallah had been staging a sit-in outside the Saint Joseph University, after they were banned by the security forces from reaching the French embassy.
