REPORT: IS militants smash Iraqi history with sledgehammers

In a few minutes, Islamic State militants destroyed historic large statues in Iraq's northern city of Mosul, using sledgehammers and drills.

The statues and sculptures from the ancient Assyrian era, date back to the 7th century B.C.
