A Middle East Airlines flight taking off from Beirut International Airport and heading to Saudi Arabia was forced to land in Qatar’s Doha. A major sandstorm whipped through Dubai and other Gulf cities on Thursday, reducing visibility, diverting flights and making breathing outside a challenge.
