REPORT: IS member arrested by LAF in Bekaa Valley town of Labweh

The Lebanese Armed Forces Intelligence arrested 21-year-old Abdul Rahman al-Bazerbashi, an Islamic State member dubbed “al-Baghdadi grandson”.

The man was detained on Saturday morning in the Labweh town, Northern Bekaa, as he was fleeing the northeastern border town of Arsal towards the North of Lebanon.

Bazerbashi had participated in battles against the LAF in the northern city of Tripoli and the border town of Arsal and was involved in the killing of kidnapped soldiers.
