Under the slogan “One Day One Sandwich,” people across the country added an additional sandwich to their lunch box, in order to offer it to a person in need.
This initiative was launched by Lebanese singers and actors on social media platforms through a video showing a number of Lebanese celebrities asking every person to help alleviate the burden of poverty and hunger.
As a result, hundreds of sandwiches were collected at schools and distributed to “Resto du Coeur” restaurant, where dozens of poor people eat every day.
