REPORT: Palestinian refugees protest UNRWA’s decisions to reduce services

Palestinian refugees staged a sit-in outside the Beirut headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), to protest the international organization’s decision to suspend their aid program.

Palestinian refugees residing in Lebanon and others coming from Syria took to the street to call on the UNRWA to retract its decision and to introduce a comprehensive emergency plan to improve their situation.
