REPORT: Administration of Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais violates the law

The administration of the “Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais” continues to violate the Lebanese law by increasing tuition fees without the approval of the committee representing the families of students.

In the details, the committee suspended a lawsuit it had filed against the school paving the way for negotiations mediated by Education Minister Elias Bou Saab.

Nonetheless, the school administration sent a new letter to the committee whereby it set the tuition fee increase at 5%, violating thus law 515 which stipulates that any increase should be approved by the said committee.
