REPORT: ISF Information Branch arrests citizen for abducting child Ricardo Geara

The Internal Security Forces Information Branch arrested on Friday in Beirut’s Dora a Lebanese man identified by his initials as S.A. on charges of kidnapping child Ricardo Geara.

6-year-old child Ricardo Geara was released on Monday (July 06) after his parents paid a USD 50,000 ransom to kidnappers.

The child was abducted on the 4th of July from outside his home in the Jbeil town of Amchit, in exchange for a USD 250,000 ransom, which was reduced to USD 100,000 on Sunday.
