REPORT: 54% of Lebanese feel insecure by refugee presence- study

A study conducted by Saint Joseph University has shown that 54% of the Lebanese people feel insecure in light of the Syrian refugees’ presence in Lebanon, although only 9% of them said they had been attacked by Syrians.

Meanwhile, 76% of the Syrian refugees in Beirut say they feel unwelcomed and almost two-thirds of them say they had been attacked by Lebanese citizens.
