Among the proposals discussed “behind the scenes” as possible solutions for the waste management crisis, a proposal was presented suggesting the use of Akkar’s Srar landfill as an alternative to al-Naameh landfill.
Consequently, Akkar residents, municipalities and deputies started their movements to voice their rejection to the proposal.
