REPORT: Inaugurated in 2013, Tripoli’s waste-sorting facility remains non-functional

Tripoli’s waste-sorting facility, aimed at reducing garbage management problems in the city was inaugurated in 2013.

Funded by the European Union, the facility has the capability of handling up to 300 tons of wastes daily; however, it remains unused.
