REPORT: Minister Chehayeb explains to LBCI reasons behind cancellation of waste disposal bids

Minister of Agriculture Akram Chehayeb explained on Tuesday to LBCI the reasons behind the cabinet’s cancellation of the results of the waste management bids.

Earlier in the day, an extraordinary cabinet session convened at the Grand Serail under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Tammam Salam.

Following the session, Information Minister Ramzi Jreij said that the ministers canceled the results of the waste management tenders and returned the file to the concerned ministerial committee, amid the withdrawal of Hezbollah, Change and Reform bloc and Tachnag ministers from the session.
