REPORT: How the sandstorm affects your health

An unprecedented sandstorm is currently engulfing Lebanon and is expected to last until Thursday evening.

The Ministry of Health stated that the sandstorm has so far led to 750 cases of asphyxiation or shortness of breath in the northern and eastern parts of the country, adding that 2 citizens suffocated to death.

Pulmonologist and Critical Care Specialist Dr. Pierre Edde told LBCI about the health problems that may result from the sandstorm.
