REPORT: Case of missing and forcibly disappeared: Facts and numbers

Seventeen thousand Lebanese people have been missing since the Lebanese war, according to the official figures issued by the Lebanese state, but nothing can verify this number.

 

According to a list issued by SOLIDE Association (Support of Lebanese in Detention and Exile), 600 persons, other than the 17 thousand missing, are held in Syrian jails.
