REPORT: Attempt to smuggle drugs foiled at Beirut port

Customs authorities at Beirut's port have thwarted on Tuesday an attempt to smuggle three tons of Captagon pills and hashish to Egypt.

“The battle against narcotics “resembles Lebanon's battle against terrorism,” Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said at the port during an inspection visit.
