Health Minister Hassan: Lebanon is no longer in Coronavirus containment stage
Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said on Friday that an unaccounted development happened during the past 48 hours with the entry of several Coronavirus cases to Lebanon from countries not classified as infected.
 
Hassan’s comments were made during a press conference from the Bouar governmental hospital whereby he announced that Lebanon is no longer in the Containment phase with the spread of the virus.
 
“There are 4 cases that we don’t know their sources and we are working on tracking them,” he added.
 
The minister also noted that everyone must raise their awareness and responsibility levels, calling on officials to stop their “sterile debates and to assume their responsibility.”
