Le Drian visits Lebanon, meets senior officials

French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean Yves Le Drian arrived on Thursday to Lebanon and held talks with top Lebanese officials.

He first met with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace whereby he carried a message from President Emmanuel Macron affirming support for Lebanon and for bilateral relations between the two countries.

The French minister then met with Prime Minister Hassan Diab at the Grand Serail and Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain el-Tineh.
