Hariri from Baabda: I will dispatch delegation to communicate with all blocs

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri asserted on Monday that he is convinced that the initiative tabled by French President Emmanuel Macron is the last and only chance for Lebanon to stop the collapse.

Hariri’s comments were made after meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace whereby he noted that there is no time to waste on political bickering.

“I told President Aoun that I will dispatch a delegation to communicate with all parliamentary blocs to make sure that they are committed to the French initiative,” he added.

“I rely on the awareness of the political parties,” Hariri stressed from Baabda.
