Committee for Follow-up of Preventive Measures issues a series of recommendations

The National Committee for Follow-up of Preventive Measures and Measures to Confront the Coronavirus held on Saturday a meeting at the Grand Serail chaired by Secretary General of the Higher Defense Council, Major General Mahmoud Al-Asmar.

Following the meeting, the committee issued a series of recommendations, including the suggestion that bars operate as restaurants and that nightlife establishments of all kinds abide by preventive and safety measures, including to strictly forbidden dancing, and using candles and cakes for birthdays or any other occasion.

The committee also recommended that social and ceremonial events would be only allowed in both open and closed places, provided that 50% of the capacity would be used and the number of attendees would not exceed 100.
