REPORT: Qatar Emir breaks Gaza's siege

While Hamas Movement considered that the visit of Qatar Emir Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani to Palestine breaks the country's political isolation, the Palestinian government expressed its readiness to receive him.

The Emir of Qatar is expected to visit Gaza on Tuesday with his wife and other Ministers from Egypt and Qatar to inaugurate reconstruction projects worth over half a billion dollars.

Emir Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani's trip has become a controversial issue between supporters and opponents who consider that this visit is loaded with political symbolism especially regarding its timing and political motives.

Despite the generosity of Qatar's grant, a significant number of citizens fear that these funds cause deep diversity in the Palestinian scene.
