REPORT: Roland Chbeir, victim of a clandestine crime

ISF's Information Branch members found the body of 22-year-old Lebanese citizen Roland Nabil Chbeir in the car trunk of the car he was driving on Friday. The car of this young man who hails from the town of Fidar in Jbeil was parked next to Pasteur Hospital in Jounieh.

Chbeir who was reported missing, left his home 2 days ago never to return.

Prior to the discovery of Roland’s body, LBCI had visited his home where his family was gathered desperately awaiting for any news regarding this young man’s fate. His mother who could have never imagined that Roland was never coming back, was imagining him walking through the door, calling on anyone who knows anything about the fate of her son to inform her.

The family was hoping an abductor would call, demanding a ransom in exchange for Roland’s release, but their hopes have all gone in vain.
