REPORT: Contract workers at Casino du Liban raise the voice, set up tents

260 contract workers at Casino Du Liban said that they will go on with their strike until they are granted tenure. They have lately set up 3 tents at the Casino’s parking lot.

The spokesperson for the employees Jad Mouawad said that all protestors are staying in tents overnight, adding that negotiations with the Casino’s administration are underway. He stressed that they have not reached any result, calling on the administration to grant them tenure by the end of this year.

All political parties are promising employees that they will be granted tenure, but after 5 days of protests, the situation remains unchanged.
