REPORT: Lebanese singer Assi Hallani Goodwill Ambassador

Renowned Lebanese singer, Assi Hallani, was appointed on Monday as a Goodwill Ambassador in the context of the “Live Lebanon” initiative organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in association with Bank of Beirut, Arab Countries and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The appointment was declared in a press conference held at Movenpick Hotel in Beirut.

During the press conference, an agreement was signed between UNDP and Hallani who will work to ameliorate the daily livelihood of local communities and launch development projects across Lebanese regions.

"While Lebanon is the country of water, its people are deprived of it", Hallani said. He told LBCI that the thing that provoked him the most is the retreat of forests in Lebanon and the absence of dispensaries in Lebanese regions.
