Marada Movement leader Sleiman Frangieh on Saturday left the choice of resignation to Information Minister Georges Kordahi.
The latter met with Maronite Patriarch al-Rahi and left Bkerke without making a statement, leaving matters unresolved.
According to Bkerke's spokesman Walid Ghayad, Kordahi expressed his lack of attachment to any personal interest and any position, while Patriarch al-Rahi evaluated with him the pros and cons of any step, as well as the government situation.
They emphasized on placing the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese above everything, pointing out that the decision is up to Kordahi.
