REPORT: National Dialogue, a matter of disagreement

Despite the positions of some political poles, Lebanese President Michel Sleiman assured on Sunday from Rome his insistence on calling for national dialogue.

As the Lebanese Forces express their hopelessness of national dialogue, March14 forces including the Kataeb Party consider that Hezbollah is breaching the Baabda agreement.

Talking to LBCI, Minister Michel Pharaon expressed March14’s readiness to participate in a political dialogue as determined by President Sleiman.

Minister Pharaon said that national dialogue must be for changing the current cabinet seemingly since this issue is a necessity for the country in order to eliviate tension and reach a governmental formula based on the Baabda declaration.

“We support a national dialogue chaired by the President and we presented a formula for a new cabinet,” Pharaon concluded.
