Winter is already on the door, but aids that the Syrians refugees in Iqlim el-Kharoub were promised to receive, have not yet arrived.
While living in rooms made up of tin not enough to protect them from the cold weather, some of them sleep outdoors, and children sleep on the ground. There is also a lack in medications and the minimum living requirements.
These are the living conditions of the displaced in light of an almost complete absence of the state's attention. It is worth noting that the number of refugees in Iqlim el-Kharoub is undergoing a continuous increase, and according to observers, this issue may lead to various humanitarian disasters.
For instance, Al-Iman High School in Barja accommodates 400 displaced students and dedicates for them free educational sessions every afternoon.
It is worth mentioning that some schools are not capable of accommodating this number of students, leaving the majority of Syrian children uneducated. For the full report, please click on the video above.
