Vatican Foreign Minister says stop using Lebanon for foreign interests-[REPORT]

Vatican Secretary of State Paul Richard Gallagher confirmed on Tuesday during his visit to Beirut that Pope Francis wants to visit Lebanon soon.

He pointed out from Baabda that Pope Francis believes that reforms will help Lebanon along with the support of the International Community in maintaining its own identity, and any weakening of the Christian presence would destroy the internal balance and the identity of Lebanon.

Gallagher also criticized Lebanese politicians by saying “let there be an end to the few profiting from the suffering of the many.”

“Stop using Lebanon for foreign interests,” he stressed.
