As Lebanon waits for the consequences of the Syrian revolution, the Arab world anticipates the repercussions of the Egyptian revolution.

Tripoli, which played a major role in the Lebanese independence, is currently paying the price of the Syrian democracy as clashes continue between Tripoli’s Jabal Mohsen and Bab el-Tebbaneh.

In Syria, fear of using chemical weapons is prevailing.

In this context, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that Assad could resort to chemical weapons, and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel is closely monitoring their use.

As for the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu he said that at this very moment they know where those missiles are, how they are being stored, and whose hands they are in.

As usual, the future of the region starts from Cairo where demonstrations and counter-demonstrations are taking place.

Supporters and opponents of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi scuffled outside the Presidential Palace in Cairo; either a revised edition of the dictatorial constitution will be issued or the Arab Spring will blossom freedom and democracy.

Yesterday, Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi left the presidential palace in Cairo but will his escape be an introduction to retreat from the great powers he granted himself and from the constitutional draft which was written by a single party?

Perhaps, the first initiative came today as the Egyptian Vice President announced that he is ready for dialogue with the opposition in order to amend articles of the constitution before the referendum takes place on the 15th of December.
