REPORT: Bahia Hariri in Gaza on Int'l Human Rights Day

MP Bahia Hariri presided a Lebanese delegation who visited the Gaza Strip on the occasion of Human Rights Day to support the residents of the coastal enclave who continue to suffer from humanitarian following the latest Israeli aggression.

In this context, Hariri said that she comes as an ambassador of the UNESCO and Arab women, stressing that the delegation is on a humanitarian mission away from politics and that it is necessary to support Gaza on the humanitarian and economic levels.

The delegation visited the Islamic University and signed a partnership deal involving several fields specified for Palestinian women.

They were later received by First Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council Ahmed Baher who welcomed the second visit of a Lebanese delegation in less than one month.
