Cardinal Gresh visits Mufti Derain-[REPORT]
Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops Cardinal Mario Gresh met on Friday with Grand Mufti of Lebanon sheikh Abdel Latif Derian at the Dar al-Fatwa.
 
Following the visit, Cardinal Gresh said that his visit to Lebanon comes in light of meetings and tours that the Catholic Church is conducting.
 
“My meeting with Mufti Derain was good, as we met on many common points, especially in the issue of coexistence between sects, and the importance of dialogue and convergence between religions," he added.
