REPORT: Training to preserve archeological sites in case of natural disasters

This was neither a raid nor a maneuver; the LAF conducted exercises to preserve archeological sites in Lebanon in case of natural disasters.

In this regard, the Red Cross rescue team, the Lebanese Armed Forces and Civil Defense teams held a comprehensive maneuver to create the same conditions that experts might face on the ground.

The trainees will spread this experience throughout Lebanese regions in order to help preserve the remnants of Lebanon’s archeological sites and antiques.
